or how i was wise after the event.
Glad to see Henry North London has made a return to blogging and has delivered an excellent post about the start of his own employment hell. I have had my own problems at work and that is how my acquaintance with him started. I took his advice and started a civil action against St.Helens council and others over my mistreatment and reached a settlement. North had to drop his civil case.
As part of the settlement agreement, I can not “publish nor cause to be published any derogatory or defamatory comments about (my) employer (including for this purpose the officers or management of the employer and its associated companies)”. North has no such constraints, so I say let them have it with both barrels!
A faulty bullshit detector allied with some poor character judgement can lead to some disastrous consequences.

Settlements are always better, whatever the validity of the case, because they allow people to move on. Otherwise lawyers simply engorge themselves.

True, but there is still a part of me that wants to give those bastards a piece of my mind.
